🏸 2026 results📅 What's next

Sumire Nakade and Miyu Takahashi (中出すみれ/髙橋美優, BIPROGY, women's doubles) and every 2026 badminton result we hold for them, match by match with the score. 🥇They won the women's doubles at the China Masters 2026 (Super 750) on 6 September. 🔴Up to 6 September we recorded thirteen matches for them in 2026, and they won all thirteen — five at the Orléans Masters 2026 (Super 300) in March, two at the Japan Ranking Circuit in May, 🆕one at the Taipei Open 2026 (Super 300) in August, five at the China Masters, and all four weeks ended with the title (see the run). Their October matches at the Arctic Open (6th seeds, out in the second round) and the Denmark Open are kept out of the thirteen and listed separately. They are world No. 24 in women's doubles as of 13 October 2026, up thirteen places from No. 42 a week earlier, once the title counted. Every result card links to our page for that tournament. The profile uses only what the Nippon Badminton Association and their team publish officially; we do not write about injuries or private life.

🏸 2026 results

Every 2026 result we record for Nakade and Takahashi, tournament by tournament. Tournament names link to our page for that event, which is written in Japanese. ⚠️We hold four events match by match for this pair: the Orléans Masters in March, the Japan Ranking Circuit in May, the Taipei Open in August and the China Masters in September (🆕the five Orléans matches were added on 22 September 2026 and the Taipei final on 23 September). 🆕The All Japan Corporate Team Championships card, second in the list, is a team event where the two of them played together only once, so it is not counted in the totals below. They also won two other international events in 2026 (the U.S. Open and the Baoji China Masters); we have no tournament page for those two, so they are listed with sources under career highlights below.

3/17〜22 🥇 Champions

Orleans Masters 2026

Super 300・Orléans, France

🥇They came in unseeded and won the title, five wins out of five. First round, 17 March: Kirsten DE WIT / Meerte LOOS (NED) 21-16, 21-15 in 33 minutes. Second round, 19 March: fifth seeds Febriana Dwipuji KUSUMA / Meilysa Trias PUSPITASARI (INA) 21-19, 21-13 in 35 minutes. Quarter-final, 20 March: Lauren LAM / Allison Quynh LEE (USA) 21-12, 21-14 in 33 minutes. Semi-final, 21 March: eighth seeds Rachel Allessya ROSE / Febi SETIANINGRUM (INA) 21-10, 22-20 in 41 minutes. Final, 22 March: LIN Chih-Chun / YANG Chu Yun (TPE) 22-20, 12-21, 21-18 in 65 minutes, the only one of the five to go to a third game. Their final opponents had beaten fourth seeds Rui Hirokami / Sayaka Hobara in the semi-final.
🆕Added on 22 September 2026: these five results were already on our own Orleans Masters 2027 page as the 2026 results. The Nippon Badminton Association's day pages, the English Wikipedia draw and BWF's official match data agree on the opponent, the score and the date. Match times are from BWF's official data.

6/17〜21 🥈 Team runners-up

76th All Japan Corporate Team Championships

All Japan Corporate Team Championships・Fukaya, Saitama, Japan

🆕BIPROGY were runners-up in both the men's and the women's competition. The two of them played one rubber together — first doubles in the quarter-final, 15-11, 15-7 against Riu Ogata / Rin Sugiyama of Hokuto Bank. In the official results, that is the only rubber Nakade appears in. Takahashi played three more, at second doubles with Arisa Igarashi: the group stage with Rin Iwanaga (15-1, 15-6), the semi-final 15-5, 9-15, 16-14, and 🔴the final on 21 June, 17-15, 16-14 against Gifu Bluvic's Kokona Ishikawa / Ririna Hiramoto — our tournament page writes that one from Gifu's side as 15-17, 14-16, and it is the only rubber here that is our own primary record. Played to 15 points, best of three, with no match times published.

5/20〜24 🥇 Champions

Japan Ranking Circuit 2026

Japan national event・Saitama, Japan

🥇They won the women's doubles. Our tournament page records only two matches from the Japan Ranking Circuit: the semi-final and the final. It holds nothing from the earlier rounds. In the semi-final on 23 May they beat 今井優歩 / 播摩朋奈 of Honegori Sagamihara 21-16, 21-13. In the final on 24 May they beat Maya Taguchi and 鎌田虹花 (ACT SAIKYO / Yanai Shoko High School) 19-21, 21-16, 21-16, after losing the opening game 19-21. ⚠️Our tournament page lists the pair the other way round, as Takahashi / Nakade — the same two players. 📐This was the only first-class domestic event in Japan in 2026 still played to 21 points over three games; the other national championships now play to 15. ⚠️Neither the official results site nor our tournament page gives the duration of either match. ⚠️Three of the opponents are given in Japanese only, because no source we use publishes a romanised spelling for them, and we do not invent one. The scores come from the official live-results site, which our tournament page checks against the reports by SMASH and NET. and Sports Navi.

7/28〜8/2 🥇 Champions

Taipei Open 2026

Super 300・Taipei, Taiwan

🥇They won the final on 2 August, beating the top seeds Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan (MAS) 21-16, 21-18. 🆕The score is carried as a 2026 result on our Taipei Open 2027 page, where the Nippon Badminton Association's results and the final bracket on English Wikipedia agree. ⚠️That final is the only match from this event our tournament page holds. Japan won three of the five titles that week: Yudai Okimoto took the men's singles and Yuta Watanabe / Maya Taguchi the mixed doubles.

9/1〜6 🥇 Champions

China Masters

Super 750・Shenzhen, China

🥇They won the title here, five wins out of five. In the first round on 2 September they beat seventh seeds LI Yi Jing / LUO Xu Min (CHN) 13-21, 21-17, 21-16 in 64 minutes, after losing the opening game 13-21; our tournament page calls it the biggest Japanese win of the day. In the second round on 3 September they beat Catherine CHOI / Eyota KWAN (CAN) 21-8, 21-7 in 27 minutes. ⚠️That score and the 27 minutes come from the day data published by BWF, because our own tournament page never recorded the result — they are not our own primary record. In the quarter-final on 4 September they beat LUO Yi / WANG Ting Ge (CHN) 21-10, 13-21, 25-23 in 69 minutes, closing out a decider that had reached 20-20. The semi-final on 5 September was an all-Japanese tie: they beat Sayaka Hirota / Ayako Sakuramoto 21-16, 24-26, 21-16 in 74 minutes. In the final on 6 September they beat BAO Li Jing / CAO Zi Han (CHN) 21-18, 21-18 in 49 minutes. Only the second round and the final were won in straight games; the other three went the distance.

9/4〜9 📅 Entry not confirmed

Second round, 8 October: LIN Chih-Chun / YANG Chu Yun (TPE) 18-21, 21-19, 16-21 (71 minutes). ⚠️These two matches are not in the thirteen-match count we record (scores from Nakade and Takahashi's side).

10/13〜18 ▶ Into the semi-finals (as of 17 Oct)

Denmark Open 2026

Super 750・Odense, Denmark

7th seeds in the women's doubles. In the first round on 13 October they beat LIN Chih-Chun / YANG Chu Yun (TPE), the pair who had beaten them at the Arctic Open the week before, 21-12, 23-21. In the second round on 15 October they beat LUI Lok Lok / TSANG Hiu Yan (HKG) 21-9, 21-19. In the all-Japanese quarter-final on 16 October they beat Sayaka Hirota / Ayako Sakuramoto 21-14, 21-10 to reach the semi-finals (last four). Their semi-final on 17 October is also all-Japanese, against Hinata Suzuki / Nao Yamakita, scheduled for 21:00 Japan time (it can start later if earlier matches run long; no result here yet). ⚠️These three matches are not in the thirteen-match count we record (scores from Nakade and Takahashi's side).

Scores are written from Sumire Nakade / Miyu Takahashi's point of view (Nakade and Takahashi's points first). Only matches completed by 16 October 2026 are listed. Matches in progress are not listed.

🏆 Thirteen wins, four titles

Up to 6 September we recorded thirteen 2026 matches for this pair, and they won all thirteen — five at the Orléans Masters 2026 (Super 300) in March, two at the Japan Ranking Circuit in May, 🆕one at the Taipei Open 2026 (Super 300) in August and five at the China Masters 2026 (Super 750) in September. They left all four tournaments as champions. Their October matches at the Arctic Open and the Denmark Open are not in the thirteen (see the result cards above).

The five Orléans Masters 2026 matches of Sumire Nakade and Miyu Takahashi: 21-16, 21-15 over Kirsten de Wit and Meerte Loos (NED) on 17 March, 21-19, 21-13 over fifth seeds Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma and Meilysa Trias Puspitasari (INA) on 19 March, 21-12, 21-14 over Lauren Lam and Allison Quynh Lee (USA) on 20 March, 21-10, 22-20 over eighth seeds Rachel Allessya Rose and Febi Setianingrum (INA) on 21 March, and 22-20, 12-21, 21-18 over Lin Chih-Chun and Yang Chu Yun (TPE) in the final on 22 March. Unseeded, five wins out of five, and only the final went to a third game.
The Orléans Masters in March. Unseeded, they beat the fifth and eighth seeds in two games each, and only the final went to a third game. The figure is labelled in Japanese.
Sumire Nakade and Miyu Takahashi at the Japan Ranking Circuit 2026: 21-16, 21-13 in the semi-final on 23 May, and 19-21, 21-16, 21-16 in the final on 24 May to take the title after losing the opening game. Our tournament page holds only these two, and gives no durations.
The Japan Ranking Circuit in May. We hold the semi-final and the final, and the final turned after they lost the opening game 19-21. The figure is labelled in Japanese.
The five China Masters 2026 matches of Sumire Nakade and Miyu Takahashi: 13-21, 21-17, 21-16 over seventh seeds LI Yi Jing and LUO Xu Min in the first round, 21-8, 21-7 over Catherine CHOI and Eyota KWAN in the second, 21-10, 13-21, 25-23 over LUO Yi and WANG Ting Ge in the quarter-final, 21-16, 24-26, 21-16 over Sayaka Hirota and Ayako Sakuramoto in the semi-final, and 21-18, 21-18 over BAO Li Jing and CAO Zi Han in the final. Their ranking. They are world No. 24 in women's doubles on the list of 13 October 2026 (46,620 points from seven counting tournaments). The official BWF ranking (Week 42) and the specialist outlet Badminton Spirit agree on both the place and the points. 🏆On 1 September they were 42nd with 32,020 points; the title counted from the list of 8 September, and a week later they are still 29th on the same total. Only seven tournaments count towards their total, the fewest of the 20 pairs on the Badminton Spirit list, where the others have 9 to 27, so the number says as much about how much they have played as about how well.

China Masters scores come from our own tournament page, checked one by one against the day data published by BWF. ⚠️The second round is the exception: our tournament page never recorded it, so that score comes from BWF. The title itself is confirmed by two sources — the BWF day data and the 2026 BWF World Tour listing on English Wikipedia. The two Japan Ranking Circuit scores come from our own Japan Ranking Circuit 2026 page, whose sources are the official live-results site, SMASH and NET. and Sports Navi. Rankings are updated every week, and we publish them only as dated records.

📮We corrected two things on 12 September 2026. First, we added the two Japan Ranking Circuit matches from May: our own tournament page had held them all along, while this page said the China Masters was the only week we held. Second, we had named the wrong game in the quarter-final, 21-10, 13-21, 25-23: they took the first game 21-10, and the one they dropped was the second.

🏆 Career highlights

📅 What's next

Their week at the China Masters 2026 ended with the title on Sunday 6 September. ⚠️Neither player was in Japan's squad of ten women for the Asian Games 2026 (20 to 29 September). The two women's doubles pairs named on 19 May 2026 were Yuki Fukushima / Mayu Matsumoto and Kie Nakanishi / Rin Iwanaga.

At home, the dated events are the S/J League 2026-27 from Saturday 31 October (BIPROGY, women's S block) and the 80th All Japan Championships from 24 to 30 December.

🗓️October in Europe: They were on the list of self-funded entrants the Nippon Badminton Association published on 11 September 2026 for three events. At the Arctic Open 2026 (6–11 October, Finland, Super 500) they were 6th seeds and went out in the second round (18-21, 21-19, 16-21 on 8 October to LIN Chih-Chun / YANG Chu Yun of Chinese Taipei). At the Denmark Open 2026 (13–18 October, Denmark, Super 750) they are the 7th seeds, beat that same LIN / YANG pair 21-12, 23-21 in the first round and LUI Lok Lok / TSANG Hiu Yan (HKG) 21-9, 21-19 in the second round on 15 October, and beat Sayaka Hirota / Ayako Sakuramoto 21-14, 21-10 in an all-Japanese quarter-final on 16 October. Their semi-final on 17 October is against Hinata Suzuki / Nao Yamakita, another Japanese pair (scheduled for 21:00 Japan time; the tournament runs until 18 October). After that comes the French Open 2026 (20–25 October, France, Super 750), in women's doubles. In the main draw published on 15 October, their first-round opponents are LUO Yi / WANG Ting Ge (CHN). Withdrawals after the draw are possible, so check the official BWF draw for the latest.

⚠️ The entry lists for the S/J League, the All Japan Championships and the All England 2027 have not been published. We do not print guessed entries. We update this page and the tournament pages as entries are confirmed.

🔍 Keep your own scoresheet

Of the thirteen matches we had recorded up to 6 September, five went to a third game, and in two of those they had lost the opening game. Four games went past 20-20 — the 25-23 decider in the China Masters quarter-final and the 24-26 second game in its semi-final, and the 22-20 second game in the semi-final and 22-20 first game in the final at the Orléans Masters. Noting what changed after a lost first game, and who was serving after 20-20, gives you something to work from the next time the same pair comes round.

❓ Frequently asked questions

Who do Sumire Nakade and Miyu Takahashi play for?

Both play for BIPROGY, based in Tokyo. We confirm this on the Nippon Badminton Association's U24 national team pages and on BIPROGY's own player pages. Takahashi joined the company in April 2021 and Nakade in April 2026.

Did Nakade and Takahashi win the China Masters 2026?

Yes. They beat BAO Li Jing / CAO Zi Han (CHN) 21-18, 21-18 in 49 minutes in the women's doubles final on 6 September 2026, having won all five of their matches from the first round. We confirm the title with the day data published by BWF and with the 2026 BWF World Tour listing on English Wikipedia.

What were the five China Masters 2026 scores?

First round on 2 September: 13-21, 21-17, 21-16 in 64 minutes against seventh seeds LI Yi Jing / LUO Xu Min (CHN). Second round on 3 September: 21-8, 21-7 in 27 minutes against Catherine CHOI / Eyota KWAN (CAN). Quarter-final on 4 September: 21-10, 13-21, 25-23 in 69 minutes against LUO Yi / WANG Ting Ge (CHN). Semi-final on 5 September: 21-16, 24-26, 21-16 in 74 minutes against Sayaka Hirota / Ayako Sakuramoto. Final on 6 September: 21-18, 21-18 in 49 minutes. Only the second-round score comes from BWF rather than our own tournament page, which never recorded it.

Did they also win the Japan Ranking Circuit 2026?

Yes. They beat Maya Taguchi and 鎌田虹花 (ACT SAIKYO / Yanai Shoko High School) 19-21, 21-16, 21-16 in the women's doubles final on 24 May 2026, after losing the opening game 19-21. The day before, in the semi-final, they beat 今井優歩 / 播摩朋奈 of Honegori Sagamihara 21-16, 21-13. Our own Japan Ranking Circuit 2026 page carries both scores, taken from the official live-results site and checked against the reports by SMASH and NET. and Sports Navi. This was the only first-class domestic event in Japan in 2026 still played to 21 points over three games, and no duration is published for either match.

What is their world ranking?

World No. 24 in women's doubles as of 13 October 2026, with 46,620 points from 8 counted events. On 15 September 2026 they were No. 29 with 43,020 points, so they have moved up 5 places. The official BWF ranking (Week 42) and the specialist outlet Badminton Spirit's list dated 13 October agree on the place, the points and the number of counted events. World rankings are updated every week, so we publish ours with the date attached.

What were their five Orléans Masters 2026 scores?

They came in unseeded and won all five. First round on 17 March: 21-16, 21-15 in 33 minutes against Kirsten DE WIT / Meerte LOOS (NED). Second round on 19 March: 21-19, 21-13 in 35 minutes against fifth seeds Febriana Dwipuji KUSUMA / Meilysa Trias PUSPITASARI (INA). Quarter-final on 20 March: 21-12, 21-14 in 33 minutes against Lauren LAM / Allison Quynh LEE (USA). Semi-final on 21 March: 21-10, 22-20 in 41 minutes against eighth seeds Rachel Allessya ROSE / Febi SETIANINGRUM (INA). Final on 22 March: 22-20, 12-21, 21-18 in 65 minutes against LIN Chih-Chun / YANG Chu Yun (TPE). Our sources are our own Orleans Masters 2027 page (2026 results), the Nippon Badminton Association's day-by-day results, the English Wikipedia draw and BWF's official match data; opponent, score and date agree across them.

What else have they won in 2026?

According to BIPROGY's official career summaries and the 2026 BWF World Tour listing on English Wikipedia, they also won the women's doubles at the U.S. Open and the Baoji China Masters in 2026. The Baoji China Masters is a different tournament from the China Masters. We have no tournament page for those two, so we hold no match-by-match scores for them. Until 23 September 2026 the Taipei Open was in the same position; it is now a result card, because our Taipei Open 2027 page carries the final's score.

What happened in the Taipei Open 2026 final?

They beat the top seeds Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan (MAS) 21-16, 21-18 in the final on 2 August to take the title. The score agrees between our Taipei Open 2027 page, which carries the 2026 results, and the final bracket on English Wikipedia. That final is the only match from the event our tournament page holds, so it is the only one we count. Japan won three of the five titles that week: Yudai Okimoto took the men's singles and Yuta Watanabe and Maya Taguchi the mixed doubles.

Is either player left-handed?

Nakade is right-handed and Takahashi is left-handed. Both the Nippon Badminton Association player pages and BIPROGY's official player pages give the same information.

Did they play at the 2026 Asian Games?

No. Neither was in the squad of ten men and ten women that the Nippon Badminton Association announced on 19 May 2026. The women's doubles pairs named were Yuki Fukushima / Mayu Matsumoto and Kie Nakanishi / Rin Iwanaga. We record that announcement on our Asian Games 2026 page.

Why is this one page for two players?

Because a doubles match is a single record for the pair. What our tournament pages hold are results for the pair, so this page, which is those results rearranged by player, is one page for the two of them. Only the profile is split per player.
