🏸 2026 results📅 What's next

FENG Yan Zhe and HUANG Dong Ping (馮彦哲/黄東萍, China, mixed doubles) and every 2026 badminton result we hold for them, match by match with the score. They are world No. 1 in mixed doubles as of 13 October 2026. 🔴The twelve matches we had recorded up to 7 September 2026 are ten wins and two defeats, and both defeats were finals (the later Asian Games and Arctic Open matches are not in that count and are listed separately; see the four finals). They took silver at the 2026 World Championships in August, the China Masters title in September, and bronze as first seeds at the Asian Games 2026. In the third round in New Delhi on 20 August they beat Japan's Yuta Watanabe and Maya Taguchi 21-19, 21-18, two points in each game. Every result card links to our page for that tournament. This is an unofficial summary; the profile uses only what our sources publish, and we do not write about injuries or private life.

🏸 2026 results

Every 2026 result we hold for Feng and Huang, tournament by tournament. Tournament names link to our page for that event, which is written in Japanese. ⚠️Our tournament pages follow the Japanese entries, so for this pair we often hold only the quarter-finals onward. Where we hold nothing, we say so rather than filling the gap.

7/14〜19 🥇 Champions

Daihatsu Japan Open

Super 750・Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium

🏆They won the title. Our record starts at the semi-finals. In the semi-final on 18 July they beat Akira Koga / Natsu Saito (JPN) 21-13, 21-8, and in the final on 19 July they beat Tang Chun Man / Tse Ying Suet (HKG) 21-14, 14-21, 21-15, losing the second game at 14 before taking the third. ⚠️We hold nothing earlier than the semi-final here, because our tournament pages follow the Japanese entries.

7/21〜26 🥈 Runners-up

China Open

Super 1000・Changzhou, China

🥈The top seeds reached the final and finished runners-up. Quarter-final on 24 July: 21-15, 21-11 over YANG Po Hsuan / HU Ling Fang (TPE). Semi-final on 25 July: 21-19, 21-14 over Thom Gicquel / Delphine Delrue (FRA). Final on 26 July: 23-25, 22-20, 15-21 against compatriots GUO Xin Wa / CHEN Fang Hui — both of the first two games ran past 20 points each way before the decider got away. ⚠️We hold nothing earlier than the quarter-final here.

8/17〜23 🥈 Runners-up (silver)

BWF World Championships 2026

World Championships・New Delhi, India

🥈The top seeds reached the final and took silver. We hold four of their matches. Third round on 20 August: 21-19, 21-18 over Yuta Watanabe / Maya Taguchi (JPN, 16th seeds) — two points in each game. Quarter-final on 21 August: 18-21, 21-10, 21-15 over compatriots CHENG Xing / ZHANG Chi (8th seeds). Semi-final on 22 August: 20-22, 21-14, 22-20 over Amri Syahnawi / Nita Violina Marwah (INA), the decider going to 22-20. Final on 23 August: 20-22, 21-19, 15-21 to Thom Gicquel / Delphine Delrue (FRA, 5th seeds).

9/1〜6 🥇 Champions

China Masters

Super 750・Shenzhen, China

🏆The top seeds won the title — our tournament page notes it was the only one of the five titles taken by the top seeds. First round on 1 September: 21-9, 19-21, 27-25 over Japan's Yuta Watanabe / Maya Taguchi in 75 minutes — the decider went to 27-25, and our tournament page records it as the longest match of the opening day. It was a rematch of their World Championships third round 12 days earlier. Semi-final on 5 September: 21-11, 24-22 over GOH Soon Huat / LAI Shevon Jemie (MAS, 8th seeds), an 11-point first game and a 24-22 second. Final on 6 September: 21-19, 21-16 over HOO Pang Ron / LAI Pei Jing (MAS), in 50 minutes. ⚠️We hold nothing from the second round (3 September) or the quarter-final (4 September). 🔴The first round had been on our tournament page since the opening day, but it was missing from this page until 17 September 2026. The score and the duration match BWF's official day data.

9/20〜29 🥉 Bronze (first seed)

Asian Games 2026

Asian Games・Ichinomiya, Aichi, Japan

They played as first seeds and took bronze (there is no bronze-medal match at the Asian Games, so both beaten semi-finalists get bronze). In their opening match, the second round on Friday 25 September, they beat LUI Chun Wai / TSE Ying Suet (HKG) 21-10, 21-9; in the quarter-final on Sunday 27 September they beat Dhruv KAPILA / Tanisha CRASTO (IND) 21-14, 18-21, 21-18. 🔴In the semi-final on Monday 28 September they lost 12-21, 14-21 to Amri SYAHNAWI / Nita Violina MARWAH (INA) — the only defeat on this page that ended in two games (the other two were both finals that went to a third). Syahnawi and Marwah then lost the final to JIANG Zhen Bang / WEI Ya Xin (CHN) and took silver. It is their second Asian Games bronze in a row, after Hangzhou 2022 (gold: ZHENG Si Wei / HUANG Ya Qiong; silver: Yuta Watanabe / Arisa Higashino). ⚠️Our Asian Games 2026 page only holds the medal result, so the three scores here come from the official results site and the English Wikipedia draw, which agree. For that reason they are not added to this page's count (twelve matches, ten wins, two defeats).

10/13〜18 📅 Listed by us as defending champions

Denmark Open 2026

Super 750・Odense, Denmark

Our Denmark Open 2026 page lists them as the defending mixed doubles champions from the 2025 edition in Odense. ⚠️Our own page is the only source we have for that title, so we present it as such. The 2026 edition (13 to 18 October) is under way, but our Denmark Open 2026 page follows the Japanese entries and, as of 15 October, does not show their entry or any result of theirs (the event runs until the 18th).

10/20〜25 📅 Listed by us as defending champions

French Open 2026

Super 750・near Paris, France

Our French Open 2026 page also lists them as the defending mixed doubles champions, from the 2025 edition. ⚠️Again our own page is the only source for it.

11/17〜22 📅 Listed by us as defending champions

Hong Kong Open 2026

Super 500・Kai Tak Arena, Hong Kong

Our Hong Kong Open 2026 page lists them as the mixed doubles winners of the 2025 edition at Hong Kong Coliseum, an edition where China won all five titles. The 2026 edition runs from 17 to 22 November. ⚠️The entry list has not been published.

Scores are written from Feng Yanzhe / Huang Dongping's point of view (Feng and Huang's points first). The count (twelve matches) covers matches completed by 7 September 2026. The three Asian Games 2026 matches (25 to 28 September) are shown on the card only and are not counted. Their one Arctic Open 2026 match we hold (6 to 11 October, the semi-final) is written only in the What's next section and is not counted. Matches in progress are not listed.

🏆 Four finals, twelve matches

The twelve matches we had recorded for them in 2026 up to 7 September are ten wins and two defeats, and both defeats were finals. They played four finals in all, winning two.

The four 2026 finals of FENG Yan Zhe and HUANG Dong Ping. Daihatsu Japan Open on 19 July: 21-14, 14-21, 21-15 over Tang Chun Man and Tse Ying Suet, won. China Open on 26 July: 23-25, 22-20, 15-21 against Guo Xinwa and Chen Fanghui, runners-up. World Championships on 23 August: 20-22, 21-19, 15-21 against Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue, silver. China Masters on 6 September: 21-19, 21-16 over Hoo Pang Ron and Lai Pei Jing, won. Three of the four went to a third game, and both defeats were decided there.
Three of the four finals went to a third game, and both defeats were decided there. The figure is labelled in Japanese.

All scores are primary records on our own tournament pages. The four finals also match, point for point, the career table on the English Wikipedia article for FENG Yan Zhe — same opponents, same dates, same scores. ⚠️Because our tournament pages follow the Japanese entries, we hold almost nothing from this pair's early rounds.

🏆 Career highlights

📅 What's next

Their week at the China Masters 2026 ended with the title on Sunday 6 September. They then played the Asian Games 2026 (20 to 29 September, Ichinomiya, Aichi) as first seeds and took bronze, losing the semi-final on Monday 28 September — their second Asian Games bronze in a row after Hangzhou 2022.

🆕At the Arctic Open 2026 (Super 500, Vantaa, Finland) from 6 to 11 October they played as the first seed in mixed doubles and reached the semi-finals. On Saturday 10 October they lost the semi-final to the 2025 champions Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin (CHN, 3rd seed) 18-21, 17-21, and Jiang and Wei went on to win the title. They won their first round in two games, but we hold no score for it and no record of their second-round or quarter-final matches. ⚠️This match is not in the twelve-match count above. The seeding list and the draw were settled on Tuesday 29 September, exactly as the Key Dates in the official BWF prospectus say, and on Wednesday 30 September the tournament website posted DRAW IS NOW PUBLISHED with links to the official BWF draw sheets. The second seed is Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Bøje (DEN) and the third is Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin (CHN), the defending champions from 2025. No Japanese pair is seeded in mixed doubles. The only pair the Japan Badminton Association sends as its national team is Akira Koga and Natsu Saito, and our record has this pair beating Koga and Saito 21-13, 21-8 in the Japan Open 2026 semi-final on 18 July.

A figure showing when the Arctic Open 2026 draw was settled and three of its seeds. The seeding list and draw were settled on Tuesday 29 September by BWF, and on Wednesday 30 September the tournament website posted DRAW IS NOW PUBLISHED. Christo Popov (France) is the second seed in men's singles, Anders Antonsen (Denmark) the fourth, and Feng Yanzhe / Huang Dongping (China) the first seed in mixed doubles.
Only the seeds we could confirm in the official BWF prospectus, the tournament website and our own Arctic Open 2026 page.

We list them as defending champions at three events (the first is now under way): the Denmark Open 2026 from 13 to 18 October, the French Open 2026 from 20 to 25 October and the Hong Kong Open 2026 from 17 to 22 November.

⚠️ The Denmark Open 2026 is under way, but our tournament page follows the Japanese entries and, as of 15 October, does not show their entry or any result of theirs (the event runs until the 18th). The French Open 2026 draw came out on 15 October, but our tournament page lists only the Japanese entries' first-round matches, so we have not recorded this pair's place in the draw. No entry list has been published for the Hong Kong Open 2026. We do not print guessed entries. We update this page and the tournament pages as entries are confirmed.

111,600 points from 16 counted events. On 15 September 2026 they were also No. 1, with 112,400 points. World rankings are updated every week, so this is a dated record, not a current figure. Check the BWF website for the latest list.

FENG Yan Zhe

NameFENG Yan Zhe (馮彦哲)

⚠️We do not publish a date of birth, height or playing hand for FENG Yan Zhe. The Japanese specialist outlet we use has no player profile for him, so we would have only one source, and we do not guess. He is a full-time professional who is world No. 1 in mixed doubles on the list of 8 September 2026, and we count twelve of his 2026 matches up to 7 September (the later Asian Games and Arctic Open matches are recorded separately).

HUANG Dong Ping

NameHUANG Dong Ping (黄東萍)
CountryChina

PlaysRight-handed

⚠️We do not publish a date of birth for HUANG Dong Ping. Our two sources disagree on the day: Badminton Spirit gives 20 January 1995 and English Wikipedia gives 30 April 1995. They agree only that she was born in 1995, so that is as far as we go.

🔍 Keep your own scoresheet

Two three-game finals can read the same on a results list and be nothing alike. The Japan Open final they won, 21-14, 14-21, 21-15, has six points or more in each game they took. The two they lost — 23-25, 22-20, 15-21 and 20-22, 21-19, 15-21 — were settled inside two points in the first two games and by six in the decider. Keeping the score game by game is what makes that readable afterwards.

Badsheet records your own matches point by point, builds an official-style scoresheet and charts win rate and shot placement.

❓ Frequently asked questions

What is FENG Yan Zhe and HUANG Dong Ping's world ranking?

World No. 1 in mixed doubles as of 13 October 2026, with 111,600 points from 16 counted events. On 15 September 2026 they were also No. 1, with 112,400 points. The official BWF ranking (Week 42) and the specialist outlet Badminton Spirit's list dated 13 October agree on the place, the points and the number of counted events. World rankings are updated every week, so we publish ours with the date attached.

What are their 2026 results?

Up to 7 September 2026 our tournament pages hold four events and twelve matches for them, ten wins and two defeats (not counting the later Asian Games 2026, where they won bronze, or the Arctic Open 2026, where they reached the semi-finals): champions at the Daihatsu Japan Open (Super 750), runners-up at the China Open (Super 1000), silver at the 2026 BWF World Championships and champions at the China Masters (Super 750). Both defeats were finals. Events from January to June, and the early rounds of each event, are not listed because we hold no primary record of them.

What was the score in the World Championships 2026 final?

On 23 August 2026 the top seeds FENG Yan Zhe / HUANG Dong Ping lost the mixed doubles final to Thom Gicquel / Delphine Delrue (FRA, 5th seeds) 20-22, 21-19, 15-21, and took silver. It was France's first world title in mixed doubles. Our World Championships 2026 page and the career table on the English Wikipedia article for FENG Yan Zhe give the same match.

Have they played against Japanese pairs?

We record two such matches in 2026, both against Yuta Watanabe / Maya Taguchi. In the third round of the 2026 BWF World Championships on 20 August they won 21-19, 21-18, two points in each game, and 12 days later in the first round of the China Masters 2026 on 1 September they won again, 21-9, 19-21, 27-25 in 75 minutes. That counts only what we recorded in 2026, not a career head-to-head.

How old are they, and how tall?

HUANG Dong Ping is 165cm and right-handed; her Badminton Spirit profile and the English Wikipedia article agree on both. Her date of birth is the exception: Badminton Spirit gives 20 January 1995 and English Wikipedia gives 30 April 1995, so we publish neither and note only that both give 1995. For FENG Yan Zhe there is no profile in the Japanese specialist outlet we use, so a date of birth, a height and a playing hand would rest on a single source. We do not publish them, and we do not guess.

Which spelling of their names is correct?

This page uses the BWF romanisation first: FENG Yan Zhe (馮彦哲) and HUANG Dong Ping (黄東萍). Our Japanese tournament pages use the Chinese characters throughout.

Why is this one page for two players?

Because a doubles match is a single record for the pair. What our tournament pages hold are results for the pair, so this page, which is those results rearranged by player, is one page for the two of them. Only the profile is split per player.

Which tournament are they playing next?

At the Arctic Open 2026 (Super 500, Vantaa, Finland) from 6 to 11 October they played as the first seed in mixed doubles and lost the semi-final on 10 October to Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin (CHN, 3rd seed) 18-21, 17-21. The Denmark Open 2026 from 13 to 18 October is under way, but our tournament page follows the Japanese entries and, as of 15 October, does not show their entry or any result of theirs. After that come the French Open 2026 (20 to 25 October) and the Hong Kong Open 2026 (17 to 22 November), where our pages list this pair as defending champions. The French Open 2026 draw came out on 15 October, but our tournament page lists only the Japanese entries' first-round matches, so we have not recorded this pair's place in the draw. No entry list has been published for the Hong Kong Open, so we do not print guessed entries.

How did they do at the Asian Games 2026?

They played as first seeds and took bronze. They beat LUI Chun Wai / TSE Ying Suet (HKG) 21-10, 21-9 in the second round (their opening match) on 25 September and Dhruv KAPILA / Tanisha CRASTO (IND) 21-14, 18-21, 21-18 in the quarter-final on 27 September, then lost the semi-final on 28 September to Amri SYAHNAWI / Nita Violina MARWAH (INA), 12-21, 14-21. There is no bronze-medal match at the Asian Games, so both beaten semi-finalists get bronze. It is their second Asian Games bronze in a row, after Hangzhou 2022. The official results site and the English Wikipedia draw agree on every score.
